Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Football Coach to join our team. This will be working with our development session players between Tuesday-Friday evening and weekend mornings. This will be a role that heavily involved developing players with potential in order to get them into Lambeth Tigers teams. Coaches will also have the opportunity to earn themselves a team in the future.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating players in the fundamentals of football, supporting our brand new girls only football session.

Duties

• Plan and conduct training sessions that focus on skill development, fitness, and team strategies.
• Educate players on the rules of football, techniques, and tactics to enhance their understanding of the game.
• Foster a positive team culture that encourages sportsmanship, respect, and collaboration among players.
• Communicate regularly with other coaching staff to discuss progress and areas for development.
• Stay updated with the latest coaching techniques and strategies to implement best practices within the team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably in football at various levels.
• Strong understanding of football rules, strategies, and training methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
• Ability to educate players on both technical skills and the importance of teamwork.
• FA level one desired
• A passion for sports and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for all players.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm, Freelance

Pay: £10.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 16 per week
