Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Football Coach to join our team across many our development sessions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to developing players. The sessions will take place during the week and on weekends.

Sessions

  • Tuesday 5pm-8pm
  • Thursday 5:20pm-7:20pm
  • Friday 6pm-7pm
  • Saturday 10am-12pm
  • Sunday 10am-12pm

Successful candidates will be needed across multiple sessions consistently.

Duties

  • Plan and conduct training sessions that focus on skill development, fitness, and team strategies.
  • Educate players on the rules of football, techniques, and tactics to enhance their understanding of the game.
  • Foster a positive team culture that encourages sportsmanship, respect, and collaboration among players.
  • Communicate regularly with other coaching staff to discuss progress and areas for development.
  • Stay updated with the latest coaching techniques and strategies to implement best practices within the team.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably in football at various levels.
  • Strong understanding of football rules, strategies, and training methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
  • Ability to educate players on both technical skills and the importance of teamwork.
  • FA level one desired
  • A passion for sports and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for all players.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm, Freelance

Pay: £10.00-£15.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Football coaching: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Certificate in Coaching Football (required)

Work Location: In person
