We are looking for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Engineer – Electrician to join our team and provide a comprehensive, high standard of maintenance support to the Club. You will play a key role in ensuring our facilities are safe, functional, and maintained to the highest standards, while identifying areas for improvement and developing effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves a variety of electrical and general maintenance duties, including but not limited to:
- Carrying out electrical work — both reactive and planned maintenance
- Undertaking general day-to-day maintenance tasks, often to tight deadlines and high-quality finishes
- Participating in planned maintenance activities across the site
- Supporting site electrical installations and upgrade works
- Assisting with ad-hoc maintenance and improvement projects
- Completing matchday preparation work 24–72 hours prior to each game
- Providing matchday and event cover alongside other team members
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with relevant Health & Safety guidelines
- Supporting event operations when required
Essential Requirements
- Experience in electrical installation within a large commercial environment
- NVQ Level 1, 2, and 3 in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition qualification
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a maintenance role
- Experience using Planned Maintenance software
- Full UK Driving Licence
- PAT testing experience
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proactive and organised approach to work
- Flexible, adaptable attitude
- Strong team player
