 JOB TITLE: Supporter Club Engagement Lead

DEPARTMENT: Communications

LOCATION: Main Locations: Stamford Bridge with international travel  

CONTRACT: 35 hours per week any 5 of 7 days

 

Job Function:

To provide key stakeholder management with Official Supporter Clubs ensuring growth, development and enhancement of the programme

You’ll be (Main Responsibilities): 

  •      Taking responsibility for delivering the regular activations, competitions and creating news stories in line with the Official Supporters Club content calendar. This would also include maintaining strong working relationships with all Official Supporters Clubs
  •      Implementing and delivering an official Supporter Club strategy, which would include delivering regular communications, initiatives, forums, activations and web and video content in line with the Fan Club content calendar. Provide reporting on supporter club growth, new clubs and engagement with clubs to build relationships with fans through multiple platforms
  •      Supporting the Head of Supporter Relations/Engagement on implementing a detailed strategy, to maximise acquisition, loyalty and build fan engagement throughout the season
  •      Leading the day-to-day management of the Official Supporters Club & Fan Club marketing functions, including generating engaging content & managing the rewards programme and web stories throughout the season
  •      Maintaining copy & information on Official Supporters Club & Fan Club webpages accurately
  •      Working in partnership with the CRM team to build market specific comms
  •      Managing Supporters Club Admin (responsible for day-to-day contact with Supporters Clubs)
  •      Providing regular reports and updates on both Official Supporters Clubs, showing market breakdowns, MoM growth vs targets and competitor analysis
  •      Supporting the partnerships team in relationship management to deliver Official Supporters Clubs or Fan Club activations in international markets
  •      Maintaining excellent supporter satisfaction
  •      Meeting seasonal departmental and personal targets & deadlines 
  •      Growing the Official Supporters Clubs and members within them

 

You’ll have: (Experience required):

Qualifications:

  •      A business-related degree would be beneficial

Experience:

  •      Experience in implementing campaigns to help grow an audience
  •      Building and delivering fan engagement initiatives
  •      Producing high quality communications to a broad audience
  •      Experience in reporting and analysing data
  •      Experience of working on projects with multiple stakeholders across a wider team
  •      Experience of working with creative teams and/or agency relationships
  •      Experience in working across multiple markets/languages
  •      Strong attention to detail
  •      Desired: relevant experience within sports/entertainment, or working with high-profile talent

 

Skills and Behaviours: 

  •     At least twelve months experience in a supporter engagement role in a pressurised sporting environment
  •     Experience in working with complaints and feedback systems
  •     Willing to travel overseas when required
  •     Clear understanding of the business and able to adapt to new roles and requirements 
  •     Experience of equality and inclusion issues
