Job Title: Football Coach – ATG Sports FC Player Development Centre (Greater London)

Location: Hounslow, Greater London

Hours: 2–5 hrs/week, Sunday (Optional) 10–11:30am, 4:30-6pm, Monday 8-9:30pm

Pay: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging football training sessions tailored to different player positions and skill sets.
  • Develop individual player skills and tactical understanding
  • Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
  • Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and a positive attitude among players
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed during all training activities
  • Collaborate with other coaches, staff, and parents to support player development programmes
  • Collaborate with media recruitment to promote the company in a positive light

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly football, is essential
  • Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate and inspire players of varying ages and abilities
  • Excellent organisational skills to plan effective training sessions and manage team logistics
  • Knowledge of current coaching techniques, rules of football, and safety standards
  • Ability to work flexibly including evenings and weekends as required
  • Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications are desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is appreciated

This role involves delivering structured weekly sessions to footballers aged 17+ focusing on technical development.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
FA Level 2 / UEFA C (minimum requirement) Up-to-date First Aid and Safeguarding certificates Valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) Experience working with players aged 17+ in a grassroots or academy setting A positive attitude, professionalism, and strong communication skills A desire to develop as a coach and contribute to a growing regional programme
