About The Role
Pre-Academy Coach (U6–U8) – Part-Time
We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and inspiring coaches to work with our youngest players. This is ideal for UEFA C coaches who are committed to developing their careers and working towards UEFA B within 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging sessions for U6–U8 players in a fun and age-appropriate environment.
- Contribute to the development of the Pre-Academy and Foundation Phase programme.
- Commit to two to three evenings per week and weekend matchdays.
- Engage with players and parents to build strong developmental relationships.
About The Candidate
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- UEFA C (FA Level 2) Coaching License
- FA Safeguarding Workshop
- FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football (IFAiF)
PERSON SPECIFICATION
We are looking for individuals who can contribute positively to our Academy culture and standards:
- Experience in a professional football or sporting environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to ongoing personal development and CPD
- Enthusiastic, passionate, and professional attitude
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Full UK driving licence and access to independent transport
- Ability to build strong working relationships with players, parents, and colleagues
SALARY
Commensurate with experience and qualifications
