About The Role

 
Bromley Football Club are looking for a B Team/21s Sport Scientist to manage, oversee and lead on the development and physical performance of B Team and 21's players at Bromley Football Club. This role is ideal for those who are looking to gain experience in full-time football and are passionate about contributing to the clubs long-term success. 
 
Key Roles and Responsibilities to include; 
  • Lead player load monitoring and management (GPS)
  • Support coaching staff in football session planning, leading on the physiological outputs
  • Delivery of both pitch-based and gym-based S&C sessions
  • Perform anthropometric and performance testing procedures
  • Delivery of nutrition and hydration strategies
  • Provide training and match day support 
  • Provide objective performance markers to support players in their transition into the 1st Team
  • Liaise & Work Closely with the Head of Sport Science/Head of Academy Sport Science regarding player development
  • Maintain an appropriate framework for effective management of sport science and S&C facilities
  • Be actively involved in an interdisciplinary approach of working within the club

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be passionate about football, and should have a strong desire to build a career within professional football. The role would be most suited to individuals who have recently graduated from a Sport and Exercise Science degree and wish to gain valuable experience working in football. An enhanced DBS check is essential.
