About The Role

 

Responsible to: Academy Manager & Head of Coaching

Reporters: MRES Studentship, Placement students

Build Relationships with

Internal: Academy Manager, Head of Coaching, lead Phase Coaches, Coaches (Part Time), Heads of department, Player Care Manager, First Team staff and Players.

External: Dartfish, Eyeball, Premier League clubs & Football League clubs, FA, Universities/colleges, FAYCD, and PFA.

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Location: Cheltenham Town FC Training Ground, Cheltenham, GL51 9RX

Working Pattern and Work base

Casual Worker Contract (July – April, 12 hours per week)

● Flexible working arrangements/hours
● Required to work outside of normal office hours, at evenings and weekends, on bank holidays and public holidays.
● Required to work across different bases

Travel: Regular travel to fixtures, meetings and other events in connection with the performance of the duties detailed below.

 Overall purpose of the job: Manage and coordinate the Academy video analysis program

 Key Tasks & Responsibilities

● Organise weekly analyst timetables (studentships, interns & casual staff) to record and live tag fixtures
● Organise the capturing, analysing and sharing of video & data
● Liaise with fulltime academy staff regarding match day capturing & editing requirements on a weekly basis
● Recruit placement students and provide training, CPD and feedback
● Manage and organise video (collections, members and access rights)
● Manage analysis platforms (Veo,Dartfish and Eyeball) to ensure all fixtures are tagged and shared with players and staff in a timely manner
● Lead the U18 analysis provision

Such other duties as may be appropriate to achieve the objectives of the post and to assist the Academy Manager

About The Candidate

Qualifications

● Degree in Sports Performance Analysis or equivalent

Required Experience

Experience of working in at least 1 of the following roles:

● A football coaching role
● Played football at any level.

Knowledge and/or experience of at least 2 of the following:

● Football coach
● Leading a team
● Recording football matches
● Editing footage and making short movies

ICT experience of PMA, excel, word and any other software as required to carry out the duties required for the job.

Other Requirements

● Have a full clean driving licence
● DBS clearance
