U14s Academy Coach (Casual) - Women's Department

We are looking for a U14s Academy Coach (Casual) - Women's Department  to join our progressive and inclusive Academy team. This role is crucial to creating a high-quality, supportive, and enjoyable learning environment for young players in our Talent Pathway.

​Key Responsibilities:

​

• Play an important role in developing the learning environment for the young people within the Talent Pathway alongside the coaching team and multidisciplinary team.  ​
• Plan, prepare, and deliver practical football sessions in line with our player development programme and club philosophy.​
• Support, and in some instances lead, the team on match days.   ​
• Coach in a way that ensures players have an enjoyable and meaningful experience at BCWFC
• Work with individual players around their individual player development plans (IDP’s) during player reviews and within collective training sessions. 
• Ensure players receive three formal IDP feedback sessions per season.
• Ensure all games and matchdays are well managed with a development philosophy clear to players, parents and carers.  
• Liaise with and work closely with coaching staff, and members of the multi-disciplinary team regarding player development, and prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries.  
• Work with the Safeguarding team to ensure that the wellbeing and welfare of players and staff is always an operational priority.

What are we looking for from you?

​

• UEFA B Licence or working towards
• DBS (To be completed through the club) 
• FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football 
• FA Safeguarding Children Certificate 
• The ability to engage with young people to create a meaningful and enjoyable learning environment. 
• A positive personality, passionate about making a difference.

• Youth Modules
• Experience in coaching other sports as well as football.
