Background:
The Aurora Football Club provides our members the highest level of

development of all our coaches, encouraging them to pursue further
coaching education and providing compensation support for provincial
and national coaching courses.
Position Summary:
The Head Coach is responsible for leading the development of one
U13+ age group. The position has both administrative and technical
responsibilities. This position will be responsible for the development
and implementation of Aurora Football Club’s curriculum through age
group training sessions using the Aurora FC training model. Act as a
staff coach and provide coverage elsewhere with the club when
required.
Responsibilities:
• In alignment with the Ontario Soccer Long-Term Player
Development Plan, develop and execute age appropriate training
sessions that includes 2 - 3 training sessions per week and 1 game
per week (October – September)
• Promote and support the Aurora FC training model and
philosophy
• Manage player trials and communication
• Follow Aurora FC’s training curriculum & style of play
Requirements:
• Strong management and Leadership skills
• C License or equivalent
• Making Ethical Decisions

• Making Head Way
• Previous coaching experience
• Experience working with children
• Valid driver’s license and accessibility to a vehicle
• CRB Police Check (Police Vulnerable Sector Check)
• Eligible to work in Canada
