What is the role?
We are looking for a coach to work within our Women’s Academy with the U14-U16s age group. You will be supporting the Women’s Academy Head Coach to develop players in the group to attain high levels of performance in a safe, secure, and supportive environment. Driving and nurturing a positive culture within the Women’s Academy to allow players to learn, have fun and develop a love for the game.
What will you be doing?
You will support the Head Coach in the planning, preparation, delivery, and evaluation of coaching sessions. In addition, you will share views and opinions on players’ development in an open minded and positive way.
You will be working with individual players to aim towards their development targets and well as proving feedback to them, using video where appropriate. You will be expected to work closely with the multi-disciplinary team regarding player development and prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries. Additionally, you will support the Head Coach to ensure all PGA games are well managed with a development clear to players, parents, and carers.
Is this you?
We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing the women’s game and keen to support the growth of young players both personally and professionally. They should highly organised and willing to adapt to the demands of a situation. In addition, they should have good communication skills that allows them to be understood by different age groups.
You will have a holistic approach and be comfortable supporting girls and women from a variety of backgrounds to allow them to thrive in football.
