Job Description

Essential criteria for the role includes:

  • MSc in Sports Science/Strength & Conditioning
  • BASES Accreditation
  • UKSCA Accreditation
  • Minimum of five years full time experience working with a sports team
  • Flexibility in working hours. Be prepared to work unsocial hours
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Good communication skills and an ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Work within a team environment, co-operate with others, consider the needs of others and helps others to achieve objectives
  • Ability to work autonomously on own initiative, pro-active in managing one’s own time, building an understanding of the internal and external environment in order to deliver work in a highly effective and professional manner
  • Resilience and the ability to maintain professionalism and a calm demeanour at all times
  • Excellent IT skills (including excellent MS Office – word, excel, PowerPoint)
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
  • Full DBS/Enhanced Disclosure Check
  • Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF)
  • Doctorate in Sports Science or related field (Desirable)
  • ISAK Level 1 Accreditation (Desirable)
