Sports Lingo Group Ltd, trading as Futbol Lingo, is a UK-based company revolutionising how football clubs, coaches, and players overcome language barriers. Our football-specific translation and language learning app is designed for a global game, helping prepare athletes and professionals for the multicultural and multilingual nature of modern football.

We also work extensively with schools and educational institutions across the UK, using football as an engaging platform to teach Modern Foreign Languages (MFL). From assemblies and workshops to practical football sessions, we inspire the next generation to embrace language learning.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate, football-savvy individual to become our Football Language Ambassador. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible, rewarding work that fits around a current part-time or full-time job. You will also have the unique opportunity to become a business partner and shareholder in the company, receiving dividends and contributing to a growing educational and sporting enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct visits to schools, colleges, and universities to deliver engaging football-themed MFL content (assemblies, motivational talks, classroom sessions, practical football workshops).
  • Create and develop innovative resources that combine football and foreign languages.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support integration of football-related content into the curriculum.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with schools, football academies, and educational bodies.
  • Represent Futbol Lingo at exhibitions, education and sport conferences, and other industry events.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining a professional and enthusiastic image.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in education, language learning, and football.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Based in England with the flexibility to travel nationwide.
  • Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of the football industry.
  • Previous or current professional experience in football.
  • Bilingual or multilingual (with English and at least one of: French, German, or Spanish).
  • Confident communicator and engaging public speaker.
  • Passionate about language learning and youth engagement.
  • Ability to work with a variety of age groups and educational settings.
  • Creative mindset for developing innovative educational content.

Desirable:

  • Experience with outreach, partnerships, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Previous involvement in delivering school workshops or any form of teaching
  • Knowledge of the current MFL curriculum and football trends.
  • Experience representing a brand or project at events or conferences.
