Job Description

Nashville SC is seeking a Equipment Intern that will work closely with the Equipment Manager to support the daily needs of Nashville SC’s team operations. This hands-on role provides an inside look at the behind-the-scenes logistics of professional soccer. 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Assisting with the organization, cleanliness, and upkeep of the locker room and equipment storage areas
  • Preparing and distributing team apparel and gear to players and technical staff
  • Supporting daily laundry operations for training sessions and matches
  • Helping set up and break down the locker room for home matches and training days
  • Assisting Coaches and Equipment Staff in the preparation and takedown of training sessions, including setting up cones, mannequins, and other equipment
 
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Strong interest in sports, particularly soccer
  • High energy, reliability, and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and matchdays
  • Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to lift and move equipment (up to 40 lbs)

REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and eligible for college credit. 
  • Available 20-25 hours per week.
  • The understanding that working in sports is different than being a fan. This position does not guarantee candidates will be able to watch games. Many valuable positions within the organization are behind the scenes, and they provide little ability to watch the games.
  • This internship is unpaid and is meant for students that will receive school credit and/or look to build upon their resumes.
