Product Lead at Fanalysis

Full time Technology

Job Description

A bit about us

We’re building the go-to platform for real football fans—a centralised home where trusted and passionate supporters can share their voices, insights, and emotions without being drowned out by pundits or fragmented across social media. Our mission is to amplify the perspectives of those who live and breathe the game, and to create a space where genuine fan sentiment drives the conversation. This is a really exciting opportunity to join the founding team and be a key part of driving our success.

The Role

We’re looking for a product leader to take ownership of all our products; app, website and data. You will be responsible for the core experience that brings fan sentiment, football data, and community together. You’ll drive the product strategy end-to-end: from defining the roadmap and leading the build, to shaping the experience fans have every time they open the app.

This is more than a product role — you’ll be the internal voice of the fan, making sure everything we build serves real supporters. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, content, and marketing to create something that’s both slick and full of soul — an app that fans love to use, and that generates insights powerful enough to shape the football conversation.

You’ll also play a critical role in defining how we turn fan input into structured data — building tools and experiences that are both fun to use and commercially valuable.

About You

  • You’ve got at least 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally you’ve worked in community and app development

  • You deeply understand UX, data flows, and how to build engaging user experiences

  • You’re a passionate football fan — you understand supporter culture and how fans think, speak, and behave

  • You’re a clear, strategic thinker who can prioritise ruthlessly and build alignment across teams

  • You’re fascinated by fan sentiment and how it can reshape traditional football media and analysis

  • You’re excited by early-stage environments and comfortable being hands-on and scrappy

Specific skills:

  • Strong familiarity with product analytics and user insight tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, Hotjar, or FullStory

  • Proficiency using Figma and Miro/FigJam for UX/UI collaboration and journey mapping

  • Hands-on experience managing backlogs and sprints using Jira, Linear, or Trello

  • Comfortable documenting and communicating strategy in tools like Notion, Confluence, or Google Workspace

  • Clear understanding of key product frameworks, such as lean product and agile/ scrum for iterative development.

  • Bonus: Experience with API-based products, gamification, or sentiment analysis/NLP in a user-generated content environment

This is a full-time role based in London. Our office is in Soho and we believe in the benefits of working together, so ideally you’d be able to join us in the office at least 3 days a week.
