Job Description

Job Title: Logistics Manager
Hours of work: Matchdays Only
Rate: £16 Per Hour
Location: Matrade Stadium
Responsible to: Operations Coordinator


Role Summary:

Oversee all logistical operations for all matchday equipment, including the deployment,
replacement and collection. You will be expected to complete inventories of equipment and
provide these to the operations coordinator. Coordinating, and executing all logistical
elements related to ingress, egress, emergency procedures, staff deployment, equipment
distribution, and transportation flow, in line with stadium policies and procedures.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- Management of safety equipment, including signing equipment in and out.
- Issuing staff welfare tokens
- Manage any defects during the game
- Overseeing and distributing matchday paperwork
- Distributing emergency equipment as part of contingency plans
- Maintain up-to-date inventory of all crowd safety equipment
- Report any defects to the operations coordinator
- Manage storage facilities and ensure equipment is stored safely and efficiently
- Provide support for last-minute changes or urgent equipment needs


Essential Requirements & Skills:

- Experience in spectator safety (preferred)
- Working knowledge of crowd safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure and manage high-stress situations.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation (e.g., Green Guide, Safety at Sports Grounds Act,
local licensing laws).
