About Us:
Athletico London are a passionate and progressive women and girl's club competing in Tier 5 of the women’s football pyramid. With a strong emphasis on community, development, and performance, we are looking to strengthen our coaching setup with a dedicated Volunteer First Team Coach to support our First Team Manager and Coaching Team.
The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed coach to play a pivotal role in a competitive senior women’s football environment. The First Team Coach will work closely with the First Team Manager as part of the Coaching Team to plan and deliver high-quality training sessions and support matchday operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and delivering structured, engaging training sessions.
Provide technical and tactical coaching to players in line with the team’s philosophy.
Support the First Team Manager on matchdays with warm-ups, tactical input, and player feedback.
Help monitor player development and contribute to performance reviews.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and professional team culture.
Requirements:
Minimum UEFA C Licence (or working towards).
Experience coaching in a team environment, preferably in women’s football.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A team player who is reliable, motivated, and proactive.
Availability for training on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, plus Sunday matchdays.
Desirable:
Emergency First Aid and Safeguarding certificates.
Familiarity with performance analysis and player development frameworks.
