Job Description

The positions purpose is to work under the direction of the Advanced Centre Head Coach, Pre-Academy Manager & Pre-Academy Recruitment Manager on the delivery of the midweek Epsom Advanced Centre programme. The target is to identify and develop the most talented U6-U8 players in the Epsom and surrounding areas to support relationship building and recruitment/retention of players with high potential to join the Academy at U9's.

 

This individual will be required to design, plan and deliver sessions in alignment with Academy Coaching Philosophies & the needs of the individuals within the programme. The role may also be extended in terms of extra coaching hours to a weekend or another day upon a request from your line manager in the form of Pre Academy Manager or Pre Academy Recruitment Manager.

 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Coaching:

- Coaching sessions weekly at the Epsom Centre.

- Support fellow Advanced Centre coaches in the aligned delivery of high quality training sessions.

- Plan/deliver and review all sessions in line with the academy coaching philosophies and Pre-Academy season plan.

- Support on weekend Advanced Centre games programme for designated age groups in line with the academy philosophies.

- Use the club's appropriate incident reporting system when required.

 

Player Management:

- Oversee the retention of players via relationship building with players and parents

- Ensure the Academy value's are implemented in all sessions/games.

- Ensure all players have a positive experience whilst at Fulham.

- Attend multi-disciplinary team meetings supporting interdisciplinary working and player succession planning.

 

 

Talent Identification:

- Support Local Recruitment Team on the ongoing assessment and evaluation of players within the Epsom centre
