THE POSITION

Main Activities and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Media Operations Cluster Manager; Senior Media Operations Manager the Venue Media Manager will be a key member of the FIFA Club World Cup 25 Media Operations and Services team and will work in close collaboration with the Venue Media Coordinator and FIFA Media Officers and other key individuals responsible for overseeing all media operations within a designated stadium during a FIFA tournament, ensuring smooth access and functionality for journalists, broadcasters, and photographers by managing media areas, coordinating accreditation, facilitating communication with media representatives, and working closely with FIFA Media Officers to implement tournament media guidelines at the venue level :
  • Assist Venue Media Manager with the setup, delivery and management of media dedicated areas.
  • Scope, plan and deliver all media-dedicated areas in the competition stadium.
  • Main responsible for the delivery of services to accredited journalists, photographers and non-rights holders at the competition stadium.
  • Execute the venue-specific media operations plan, which involves setting up all media areas, managing media access, handling logistics, equipment, infrastructure, overlay, signage, transport and catering.
  • Ensure media areas are ready ahead of each matchday, including the press box, press conference room, mixed zone, photo workroom, pitch photo positions and auxiliary media tribunes.
  • Manage and implement access management rules across the various media areas, in close collaboration with the media ticketing team and the FIFA Media Officers.
  • Implement signage at the venue to and from all media areas.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with media representatives.
  • Address any media-related issues or concerns promptly to the HQ team.
  • Work closely with venue operations teams to address any media-related challenges.
  • Organize accredited media during the post-match media activities to ensure a smooth delivery for media and teams involved.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all media inquiries related to the venue.
  • Collaborate closely with FIFA Media Officers to ensure smooth execution of media activities.
  • Assist with the training, and management of media operations & services volunteers.

Experience

Education & Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business administration, management, leadership, entrepreneurship)
  • Football (soccer) accreditation knowledge is a plus.
  • Willingness to work outside core working hours

  • Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
