Job Description

Role Summary:

The Marketing Executive will support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns to enhance fan

engagement, drive revenue, and strengthen Leeds United’s brand identity. This role requires a creative, detail- oriented individual with a passion for marketing and sport.

 Working closely with the Marketing Campaign Lead and Head of Marketing, the Marketing Executive will assist with various marketing initiatives and contribute to campaigns across the club.

Role Responsibilties

  • Assist in planning and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, social media, website content, and print materials.
  • Provide organisational support for campaigns, ensuring stakeholders are regularly updated.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to maintain brand consistency across all communications.
  • Support matchday and non-matchday promotional activities, working alongside Events and Operations teams.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and in-house designers to produce high-quality creative assets (e.g., posters, videos, graphics).
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide insights to optimize future marketing efforts.
  • Maintain and update the marketing database for effective fan engagement.
  • Manage marketing giveaways and promotional items.
  • Attend matchdays and events to support live marketing and fan engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with marketing-related events as needed.
  • Ensure marketing collateral is regularly updated around the stadium.
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably in sports, events, or entertainment. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing tools, and basic graphic design software (e.g., DotDigital, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Passion for football and marketing.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends for matchdays and events.
