About Us
Pro Elite Academy is dedicated to developing grassroots football and providing excellent opportunities for players, coaches and schools. Operating outside of the categorised academy football, we offer young individuals with potential the opportunity to progress forwards either through our Junior Academy Pathway (6-16 Years old) or our Scholarship (16-19 years old).
Role Overview
As a Foundation Phase Coach, you will be in a position to undertake high-quality developmental sessions for players between the age of 6-12 years & lead them for games on Saturday mornings. Specifically, we are looking for a UEFA C Licenced (or level 2 equivalent) to be able to join our organisation on a part-time basis to lead & develop our younger players to fulfil their potential. With our boys & girls competing in the West Yorkshire Junior Premier League, we expect & require the very highest standard from our coaches in terms of professionalism, commitment and quality of delivery. Furthermore on this, we want to have coaches that are not only knowledgeable & interactive, but also to have the ability to delivery high energy, high balling rolling time, fast paced coaching sessions.
Our Coaching Philosophy
- High balling rolling time (75%+ minimum)
- High intensity - regardless of age group
- enthusiasm, body language and energy what players & parents value
- To view each player from a holistic stand point - not just to care and know about them as a player but also as a person too away from football.
Schedule (as minimum - we have lots of hours to offer)
Mondays - 5-7pm - Junior Academy (essential)
Wednesdays - 6-8pm - Development Centre (optional)
Saturdays - mornings (ko time varies between 8am-12pm) (essential)
Furthermore, we can offer coaches zero, part-time & full-time hours which makes this role a very exciting opportunity for those looking to progress a career in football coaching. For example, for a part-time/full time member of staff who displays their coaching ability, we can offer further hours in the following programs:
- Scholarship programs (full time)
- School hours (part time/full time)
- Other logistical or leadership roles...
Key Responsibilities
- To lead high quality, high balling rolling time, developmental sessions for Foundation Phase Junior Premier League players.
- To vocally lead one of our JPL teams on a Saturday morning
- To complete registers for our players on at training session to monitor attendance
- To liaise with other staff and the academy manager on training & games
- To liaise professionally with parents
Experience & Requirements
- Previous experience of coaching in a youth developmental environment
- UEFA C licence/level 2 equivalent
- Attend CPD events we supply
- Complete all admin processes, session planning methodology, IDP’s
Desirable
- UEFA B licence/level 3 equivalent
- previous experience of coaching in an academy setting
- BSC degree in a coaching related degree or similar
