Location: Cheshunt, Hertfordshire (on-site)

Age Groups: U9–U15

Hours:

Training: Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Matches: Saturdays (Kick-off times between 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM; some flexibility available)

Role Overview

Bows Soccer Academy is opening applications for Lead Team Coaches to manage and develop teams from U9 to U15 age groups. This is a part-time role, ideal for coaches passionate about youth football and player development. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging training sessions, leading teams during weekly matches, and ensuring a positive learning environment for all players.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver structured, age-appropriate training sessions twice per week.

Develop and implement effective game strategies for Saturday matches.

Monitor and assess player development, providing regular feedback.

Foster a positive, safe, and challenging environment where players can thrive.

Organise and manage practice drills and match day preparations.

Communicate effectively with players, parents, and academy staff.

Uphold the Academy’s values and standards on and off the pitch.

Maintain training equipment and ensure the safety of all participants.

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum UEFA C / FA Level 2 coaching qualification (Essential)

UEFA B License (Preferred)

Significant experience coaching youth football.

Strong understanding of player development principles.

Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.

Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).

Valid First Aid and Safeguarding Children certifications (or willingness to obtain).
