THE POSITION
Main Activities and Responsibilities
The main responsibilities and oversight of the VIP Hotel Welcome Desk Coordinator for the FIFA Club World Cup 25™ include:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive to the VIP Hotel, providing guidance for their reason of arrival
- Maintain a sharp overview of all VIP Hotel offerings and daily operations to properly communicate them to guests and maximize their experience during tournament time
- Manage any questions or requests, and relaying them to the appropriate Functional Area Lead
- Follow proper protocol procedures for all varying guest groups as guided by the VIP Hotel Manager
- Maintain the appearance of the welcome desk to uphold the VIP Hotel standards
- Monitor all arrivals and departures, communicating with the respective Funtional Area team
- Manage all incoming packages for guests as advised by the VIP Hotel Manager
- Work closely with the Guest Operations, Guest Relations, Transport, and Accommodations teams to plan and accommodate for guests with special requirements
- Adhere to security procedures and handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Provide the delivery of an exceptional VIP Hotel experience to all guest groups

Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Management, Sport Management/Business, Marketing and Communications, Hospitality ideal
- 2+ Years Hospitality and Guest Management Experience, with Operational Experience
Experience with reception, customer service, guest operations, and hospitality, as well as related event services; knowledge of its respective methodologies, planning and controlling tools - Experience supporting end-to-end V/VIP hospitality programs
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively ensuring smooth operations
- Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
- Prior experience with international or large-scale events is highly desirable.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Strong project management and operational coordination skills.
