THE POSITION

Main Activities and Responsibilities


Reporting to Central VIP Hotel Operations, the VIP Hotel Manager will be a key member of the FIFA Club World Cup 25 Guest Operations team and will work in close collaboration with Guest Relations and other key individuals responsible for overseeing and delivering the key operations at the VIP Hotel.

The main responsibilities and oversight of the VIP Hotel Manager for the FIFA Club World Cup 25™ include: 
  • Oversee the VIP Hotel operations at the assigned FIFA Club World Cup 2025 VIP Hotel while managing the integration of both existing and bespoke events over the course of the tournament  
  • Lead the development and on-site implementation of the V/VIP Guest Experience & Hospitality concept (innovation, branding, dressing and decoration, overall look & feel, gifts, entertainment, staffing) as applicable at the VIP hotel 
  • Act as the first point of contact regarding infrastructure and technical questions related to the guest experience for assigned VIP Hotel (e.g. VVIP/VIP spaces, entrances, lounges)  
  • Work closely with the Guest Operations, Guest Relations, Transport, and Accommodations teams to plan and accommodate for guests with special requirements  
  • Assist in the development and delivery of world class training programs for service staff and volunteers, focusing on excellence and ‘wow’ customer service  
  • Participate in regular planning meetings and reviews, demonstrating excellent project management and reporting skills  
  • Implement the programs, policies and procedures to provide the highest level of customer service, and to assure smooth coordination of activities during match day operations 
  • Oversee key suppliers tasks & deliverables (delivery timelines, quality insurance, budget control, risk management)  
  • Communicate Guest Management Policies and Operational Plans to all relevant stakeholders  
  • Coordinate and maintain a strategic overview of all Guest Operations at the VIP Hotel during tournament time

Experience

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Marketing and Communications 
  • Postgraduate Education focusing on Event Management 
  • 5+ Years Hospitality and Guest Management Experience, with Project Management and Operational Experience  
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in general hotel operations, specifically with guest operations and hospitality as well as related event services; knowledge of its respective methodologies, planning and controlling tools  
  • Experience managing end-to-end V/VIP hospitality programs 
  • Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools 
  • Prior experience with international or large-scale events is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Strong project management and operational coordination skills.
