As a result of a promotion within the team, we are looking for an organised and supportive Select Group Women’s Professional Game (SGWPG) Manager to join us at PGMOL. This role is essential in managing and developing our Select Group Women’s Professional Game Referees, and you will be directly responsible for the general management of the Select Group Women’s Professional Game, working with Coaches to create and deliver appropriate training, performance management, and managing the technical development of the officials. What you can expect to be involved in
Working with the Select Group Women’s Professional Game Director, the SGWPG Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Officiating Team delivers the required performance standards for the Competition. The SGWPG Manager is directly responsible for the general management of the workforce in the WPG, working closely with coaches to create and deliver appropriate training, performance management, and managing the technical development of the officials, including the disseminated work at Regional Performance Centres (RPCs).

OVERVIEW:
Formed in 2001 to improve refereeing standards, PGMOL officials officiate across Premier League, English Football League and FA Competitions – funded by all three organisations. PGMOL is responsible for the recruitment, training, development and mentoring of referees and assistant referees.
To deliver the quality of refereeing required by the Competitions, PGMOL mirrors the setup of a football club with coaches, sports scientists, sports psychologists and physiotherapists all part of the improvement process.
