What is the role?
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Supporter Relations team as a Matchday Experience Lead, to lead the delivery of all matchday fan engagement and deliver the best matchday experience for all supporters and visitors.
What will you be doing?
You’ll be leading on the matchday experience strategy to enhance fan engagement, collaborating with all the relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure that everyone is aligned on plans and all commercial deliverables/KPI’s are met.
You will be following the whole matchday experience process from attending planning meetings, overseeing production checks and managing bookings, contracts and communication with will external suppliers/talents to attending debrief meetings and conducting post-event evaluations and reports.
Managing the coordination of casuals, external contractors and volunteers you will ensure a seamless matchday experience for all supporters and visitors.
Is this you?
You’re organised, optimistic and have good interpersonal skills which allows you to communicate effectively with a variety of people. You understand what excellent customer service entails and would be a positive representation of the charity and football club.
Essential Experience:
· Experience working in sports fan engagement
· A strong knowledge of AV and how production is brought to life
· Experience in booking talent for live events
· Proficient in budget management and using systems such as Workday
Desirable Skills:
· Knowledge and understanding of Southampton FC fan base
· Understanding of green/purple guild regulations and good crowd management.
