Role Reports To: Club Chief Operating Officer.
Role Purpose: To operate and manage all the Club bars professionally with a
commercial outlook. To seek meaningful growth towards a full week operation from the
current pattern of football and weekend focus.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• You will report to the Club's Chief Operating Officer.
• The successful candidate is expected to be ambitious and entrepreneurial in approach
and take operational ownership of the bar facilitating a Club's ambition to increase the
number of events and days the stadium bars are open
• Working with employees within the Club Events and Ticketing Team to ensure any event
or function introduced to the Club is satisfactorily executed
• Ensuring that events or functions are set up in Club bars or function rooms, and where
needed to return to a satisfactory state upon completion
• Working proactively with the Club Media Director to ensure marketing and publicity is
visible and effective regarding the promotion of events, and also the day-to-day opening of all
bars and rooms for hire.
• The post holder will be required to work in a managerial capacity and be responsible for
the bar and staffing of it operationally all days when the stadium bars are open.
• The post holder will be required to manage the stock control, including ordering of stock,
and availability of stock on shelves and optics and pumps to ensure availability to
customers, whether directly or delegated to trusted and trained staff.
• The post holder will be responsible for managing the day-to-day relationships with
external and 3 rd party suppliers such as drinks suppliers and breweries in coordination with
the Club Commercial Director.
• The post holder is responsible for the management and oversight of financial numbers
for bar sales and purchases, and staff costs, and any other relevant financial
metrics providing such as is required to the Head of Finance, and the wider Board as
appropriate. Setting and managing income and expenditure budgets is a core task.
Adhering to the Club’s Stadium Cashless policy for the bar.
• The post holder will be required to attend the Club’s weekly Operational Meetings to
report activities and financial results of the bar, as well as to participate with the other
members of the senior management team in planning.
• The post holder is responsible for the opening and closing of the bar, and Club premises,
supervising and delegating where necessary this function to other staff, including those
outside of the bar team itself.
• Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness exists behind the bar, and in the public bar areas
themselves. This includes maintaining the relationship with any 3 rd party cleaning services
provider to the Club.
• Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities which your line manager or another
a senior manager at the club asks you to perform.
• Demonstrate commitment to Safeguarding by adhering to relevant policies, procedures
and values relating to safeguarding children and adults at risk
