A women’s team is important to our vision of equity and opportunity for all, and the organization has resources and structure to build on. There are a large number of quality youth clubs, collegiate teams and women’s teams in the Bay Area that provide access to talent and there is a further opportunity, through our efforts, to grow participation, especially BIPOC girls in and around Oakland and further diversify the available talent pool.
