Analyst Portfolios: Submission Guidelines

To submit your report to be published on Jobs In Football and receive feedback on your work, please review the below and ensure all of the mandatory requirements are met.

PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO HIGH NUMBER OF SUBMISSIONS, ALL MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET FOR REPORTS TO BE REVIEWED AND PUBLISHED

Mandatory Requirements

  • It must be your own work. Any plagiarism will result in you being banned from future submissions.
  • Reports must be original content, with no presence elsewhere online
  • Each report should contain at least 2 images, graphics or videos. All of these should be attributed properly if not owned by the analyst.
  • Reports should be submitted in English
  • Reports should be submitted on Microsoft Word or Google Docs.
  • Mention which tools or platforms you have used to create your report
  • These reports are as much about you as the content, so include an author profile to sell yourself! Please include, within 500 words: 
    • Full Name
    • Bio
    • Experience and areas of expertise
    • Interests
    • Aims for the future
    • LinkedIn profile URL (if available)

Recommendations

  • Infographics or unique ways of presenting data are strongly encouraged!
  • Graphic design part of your skillset? Create your own headline image so users can see your talent. Reports submitted without imagery will be provided with a standard headline image. The suggested image size is 1200 x 800px, and we recommend including a signature within it to show it is your own work.

  • Player Analysis
  • Recruitment Analysis
  • Team/Opposition Analysis
  • Match Analysis
  • Manager/Head Coach Analysis
  • Set Piece Analysis

Dashboards may also be submitted, but they MUST be titled appropriately and have additional information to give further context.

 

Important - Please Read

  • We have a minimum standard for reports, so your report may not be published on the site if it does not meet this. However, whilst your report may not be published first time, you will always get feedback and have the opportunity to submit again.
  • Reports must meet all the mandatory criteria to be published
  • We want the feedback that Jonathan gives you to be useful to others too, therefore we like to post his feedback along with your reports. However, if you’d prefer otherwise we can send this to you privately.
